Fellowship and Fun
Rotary members are known as Rotarians and most clubs have a mix of male and female members from a variety of age groups.
The weekly meetings are quite informal and conducted in a light-hearted manner during a meal at the Kensington Hotel. They commence with a 20 minute talk by a guest speaker followed by reports about club activities, past, present and in the future.
Whilst having meetings and working on Club Projects members enjoy fellowship with one another and have a lot of fun. On several days during the week a group works at the Shed, sorting and preparing items for sale.
Social events are organised like a trip to a live theatre performance, a ‘Come and try Croquet’ evening and an annual Christmas party.
